Company Background
Vinyl Signs of Whitby was started in 1996 by father and son duo John and Robert Lamerton.
Robert completed his City & Guilds Craft Certificate in Sign work in July 1994. The company started trading with a basic sign cutter and gradually built up its customer base within the Whitby area.
As the company grew, it was able to invest in a small printer-cutter, giving customers the option of full colour graphics on their signage.
The popular demand for digital printing continued and Vinyl Signs started to produce large format graphics using state of the art equipment and computer aided software. The company prides itself in keeping up to date with the latest industry developments.
How has Clarity helped your business?
It saved us alot of time with pricing once I got the idea of how to enter my price lists etc, also it was quicker to provide quotes for customers on the same day and also I knew exactly what had to be done from design to production of jobs within the job board section.
And finally my cash flow from customers paying their invoices has been quicker as well.
What Clarity Software features do you find most useful and why?
Quoting and also the activities that I knew what had to be done each week from design, production and quote follow ups. And also the google drive link in which I can save all invoices from suppliers attached to jobs which keeps everything together and accessible wherever you are and never misses a cost for a specific job.
