Apprentice Toni Dolphin successfully completes IT infrastructure Technician Level 3 Microsoft Apprenticeship at Clarity Software
Toni’s apprenticeship covered a range of topics from more complex units such as coding, to learning about core units such as cybersecurity.
The apprenticeship was arranged in partnership with Baltic Training and involved Toni working at Touch Systems, particularly within the Clarity Software support team, solving IT related problems and understanding legislation relating to technology systems and solutions.
Throughout the apprenticeship, Toni was required to complete assessment plans, Microsoft certification tests and a final project where she was able to put everything learned into practice.
Toni commented;
“I found the apprenticeship to be really interesting and it helped me to put things I have learned previously into practice. I found some of the courses completed had challenging elements that tested my knowledge. However, at the end of my placement I found that I had gained more knowledge relating to specific IT topics which helped me in my job role.
I wanted to complete an apprenticeship as I felt it would personally benefit me and provide me with valuable work experience in a good environment and in a role I wanted to do.”
As a result of this successful completion, Toni is now a fully-fledged member of the Clarity support team and was recently shortlisted for the Solihull Chamber ‘Outstanding Apprentice of the Year Award’ – Sponsored by Solihull College & University.
Stuart Ryder, Clarity Software Support and Implementation Services Manager commented;
“Toni is a fantastic member of the support team and has gone from strength to strength over the past year. Her customer service is second to none, she is always polite and listens to the customer requirements and quickly resolves their issues in a professional manner. We are constantly receiving positive feedback from the clients Toni has been dealing with.
I’ve given Toni additional responsibilities within the support team, she has added these to her daily tasks with ease, this is testament to her conscientious approach to her work.”
