Christmas fundraising to raise money for Save the Children UK
Christmas fundraising at Clarity Software is often a time for getting involved in some festive fun but also about trying to do something to help the less fortunate among us.
This year’s choice of charity was Save the Children UK, who work to improve the lives of children through better education, health care and economic opportunities, as well as providing emergency aid in natural disasters, war and conflict.
To help raise money for this charity, Clarity staff organised a coffee and cake event at their headquarters in Solihull where people donated money to take part. In true spirit, staff wore Christmas jumpers, enjoyed mulled wine and mince pies.
The team managed to raise a total of £143.42 which will be forwarded on directly to Save the Children UK.
Josie Hayward Account Manager for Clarity Software, who helped to organise the event commented;
“It was so nice seeing everybody get in the Christmas spirit this year and some real effort was made by all. We all enjoyed lovely hot chocolates and coffees at lunchtime and an array of festive treats went down very well! It was the perfect opportunity to give back to children less fortunate than ourselves and it was so lovely to see everyone donate so generously to a fabulous cause. Merry Christmas everyone.”
Christmas fundraising saw the Clarity Software team raise a total of £143.42 for Save the Children UK. Well done to all involved.
