Xero Installation Guide

To authorise your Clarity Go account integration with Xero, you’ll need to follow the steps outlined below:

  • Sign into Clarity Go

  • Click on your name in the top right corner of the application

  • Click on 'Integrations'

  • On the Xero Panel, click Connect. This will re-direct you to the Xero login page where you must enter your Xero credentials. This will then establish the connection successfully and take you back to Clarity Go.

  • You will be prompted to allow access to your Xero organisation, if you confirm this, you will be taken back to the Integration page in Clarity Go.

Integrating your Clarity Go and Xero accounts enables you to spend less time on accounting, by posting your invoices from Clarity Go directly to Xero. You will also be able to see your Xero account statuses and nominal codes in Clarity Go.

To post your invoices to Xero you’ll need to setup the integration between the two cloud products. Follow the steps highlighted in the Getting started section above, then:

  • Sign into Clarity Go

  • Once you have an invoice awaiting to be posted, go to Invoicing in the header

  • Either select Sales Invoices or Purchase Invoices (depending on what type of invoice needs to be posted to Xero), select the check box in the column header to select all invoices or select the checkbox next to the invoice itself to select that specific Invoice

  • Click on 'Post to Xero' to send the invoices to your Xero Account.

  • There may be some circumstances where the invoice cannot be posted, but Clarity Go will allow you to resolve these issues

    • i.e If the customer does not exist in Xero, then a new Xero contact will need to be created (the software allows you to do this in Clarity Go)

In order to disconnect from Xero, you’ll need to take the following steps:

  • Sign into Clarity Go

  • Click on your name in the top right corner of the application

  • Click on 'Integrations'

  • On the Xero Panel, click Disconnect.

  • You will need to confirm this action again

  • If you select Yes, then you will be disconnected from your Xero account.

You will no longer be able to post invoices to Xero, and you will no longer get updated account statuses in Clarity Go. You’re able to re-establish the connection between Clarity Go and Xero at any time, by clicking ‘Integrations’, then connecting within the Xero panel.
